Labyrinth Counseling

Mental healthcare to support you along your path.

My Approach

Laid Back, Relational, Affirming.

I view therapy as a creative and collaborative process and intend to bring curiosity, authenticity, humor and warmth to the space. Together we can explore the experiences, contexts, and aspects of your identity that make up who you are and influence how you move through the world. We can learn approaches to assist you to self soothe, communicate more effectively in your relationships, and identify emotions and process experiences. I believe in identity-affirming care, cultural humility, social justice, ongoing learning, and I strive to create a nourishing therapeutic environment that fosters healing, connection, and transformation.

About Celeste, LCSW

I’m a therapist, writer, and artist based in Oregon. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in education and social service roles for over a decade. Based on these professional experiences in combination with my own experiences through life transitions, change, and healing, I found myself drawn to the mental health field. Over time, it became clear to me that my path was leading me towards work in which I could work alongside people through the exploration of identity, meaning making, processing life experiences, and learning tools and skills to support movement through the world. I received a Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University.

The Labyrinth Path:

A meaningful practice I return to through my own life changes has been visiting labyrinths. I practice asking a contemplative question, walking the path mindfully, then stopping in the center to listen into the insight that comes forth. I make it a point to find labyrinths whenever I travel or am faced with pivotal life choices as I have found that walking the path has been an aid to tuning into and unraveling my own mind. Over time I have come to understand labyrinths not only as a reflective tool but also as a metaphor for the winding life paths we all walk as humans. My goal at Labyrinth Counseling is to help you explore your own inner landscape, tune into your own knowing, and to be a support alongside you as you walk your unique path.

“We’re all just walking each other home.”
